Carpinteria, where the blue waves splash upon the white sand, was home to Jeanette. She attended UC Santa Barbara. After graduation, she meandered north to become a health/human sexuality educator at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

She obtained her MPA, came to OC and consulted with businesses such as the Honda Center. Her last assignment – running a chocolate factory – was a truly addictive experience!

For years she cared for her mother and husband. Once they passed, she redefined her purpose and wrote about her experience. While she writes her second book, her first book, It Wasn’t Supposed to End This Way, is on Amazon.

She joined OLLI (CSUF program for seniors) and created a senior flash mob – the Fullerton Flashers. While describing her team, she simply beams.

Jeanette’s heart breaks when talking to the homeless. She is grateful to Pathways of Hope, and she is so honored to help raise funds for those in need.
