Hunger

Ever year, Pathways of Hope provides over 100,000 meals and thousands of pounds of food through the HUB of Hope food distribution and resource center. The HUB is located in Richman Park on the backside of Richman Elementary School. Three times per month, households can visit us and participate in a “client choice” model programming. This model allows our community members to choose the food that best meets their nutritional and health needs from a variety of options

5,621 people (including 3,376 children) people facing food insecurity received nutritious meals at the HUB of Hope last year.

In addition to food services, we also offer life skills classes, hygiene kits, diapers, transportation assistance, clothing vouchers, California photo ID referral services and community resources and referrals. The HUB also serves homebound adults in our community by providing local seniors with meal delivery and compassionate care services.

16,611 total services were provided to struggling members of our community last year.

Food Banks

Pathways of Hope is proud to operate food banks at three local community colleges: Fullerton College, Cypress College, and North Orange Continuing Education. We offer resources for students who are struggling with food insecurity and housing instability, providing compassionate case management and support on site at each location.

3,447 students were served through the College Food and Resource Programs in the four months these programs operated last year. We anticipate serving many more students through the full year of operations in 2020.
