Kaiser Permanente Supports Pathways of Hope

A message of thanks to all healthcare workers:

Pathways of Hope would be remiss if we did not take a moment to say THANK YOU to all healthcare workers for your incredible dedication to the health of our communities – always, but especially during the pandemic.

Words can never express our gratitude for the countless lives you touch every single day. Please accept this humble message of thanks from everyone at Pathways of Hope for your service.

Two messages of thanks from David, Executive Director of Pathways:

Kaiser Permanente’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service:

Kaiser Permanente and Pathways are partnering to celebrate and continue the work of Martin Luther King, Jr. by joining together for this day of service to support vulnerable and marginalized people.

During the coldest months of the year and amidst the dangers of the pandemic, you can help Pathways of Hope provide struggling people with warm clothing and hygiene supplies.

How you can support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless:

Pathways is collecting supplies to assemble Winter Care Kits and Hygiene Kits for the people we serve at our food bank and our housing programs.

You can help by purchasing items from our Amazon Wish List.

These items will be given out to people who are experiencing homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless in North Orange County, California.

You can also donate funds directly to Pathways to help us support people who are struggling and seeking hope.

Thank you for showing our neighbors in need that they are loved and supported by a caring and compassionate community!

Kaiser and Pathways:

Last year, in the midst of the pandemic, Kaiser Permanente reached out to Pathways of Hope to offer help with what we needed most: funding for general operating support.

As you might expect, Pathways had experienced an exponential increase in the number of people seeking food and housing services after the COVID-19 outbreak. So many people in our community were struggling, in crisis, and seeking help and hope — and so many struggling people continue to seek our support every day.

Funding from Kaiser Permanente is helping to empower Pathways to serve as many people as possible with the highest quality of services possible as we continue to navigate the dangers and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.

And now that Pathways has been selected as a beneficiary of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, we are beyond grateful for the amazing outpouring of support you’ve provided to the people we serve during this critical time.

On behalf of our staff, our Board of Directors, and the thousands of struggling people we serve each year, thank you, Kaiser Permanente, for helping Pathways to end hunger and homelessness!
